Meet NSGLC 2026 Community Engaged Intern: Vishnu Gadepalli

The National Sea Grant Law Center welcomes Vishnu Gadepalli for its 2026 Community Engaged Internship (CEI)! Vishnu is a senior in the 3+3 Accelerated Law Studies program, majoring in Legal Studies and minoring in Environmental Studies at the University of Mississippi, and will begin his 1L year of law school at the University of Mississippi School of Law in the Fall of 2026.

Oxford, MS
2. What was your first job?
Camp Counselor and Lifeguard
3. Who inspires you?
My older sister
4. What made you consider a career in law?
I have always been civics and community-oriented and decided that law was the best means to my end of leaving the world a better place than I found it.
5. What are you most excited about doing this summer?
Applying my reading and writing skills in order to contribute to the Center’s mission.
6. Where’s your favorite beach?
Pensacola Beach
7. What do you do in your free time?
I enjoy working out, listening to music, and traveling.
8. Do you have any hidden talents? What are they?
I can juggle!
